History:

In the spa park on the edge of the "Weißer Hirsch" residential area in Dresden, a ski jump and a toboggan run were built in Stechgrund in 1926. The ski jump was probably only used for a few years, since the "Teichgrundquelle" source was discovered during construction, from which a small pond was then created in 1932.
After World War II, Dresden also had the pioneer ski jump in Alaunpark built in 1955 and the ski jumps at Wilder Mann, which were inaugurated in 1956.
