History:

Courchevel 1850 is the town center of Courchevel on 1850 m altitude. Right opposite the main cable car station at La Croisette, a 50 meter ski jumping hill was built in 1950-51. From 1955 on, the wintersports resort was developed much further under the lead of Emile Allais and in 1970 the ski jump was modernized as a K54. Competitions were hosted regularily on the hill until 1980's, even including night events, which were attended by large crowds. Today, the hill doesn't exist anymore and the inrun was dismantled, but the former landing slope can still be recognized.
