History:

The history of Suolahti ski jumping started in 1936 when the first 20-meter ski jumping hill with wooden inrun was built on Kukkulantie.
The first ski jump at Tiitisen, the K50 with its massive wooden inrun tower and knoll, was built in 1962. In 1986, the K25 ski jump was added for young jumpers to practice on it. In the best days, there were over 20 jumpers in Suolahti, but in the 1990s the winters started to start late and be too warm, so that ski jumping went down. The 50-meter hill, on which many competitions were hosted, was finally deconstructed in 2006.
In 2011, the K10 ski jump was built and the K25 was modernized. Nevertheless, ski jumping activities in Suolahti completely faded. In early 2021 the ski jumps were brought back to life by some veteran ski jumpers, who want to make them usable in the long-term again in summer.

After the k50 was constructed the hole ski jumping stopped in suolahti but then we gathered up some of the old jumpers and then some new.then we strted fixing the k25 and we built a k10 next to it last summer now the ski jump is good and has a future. I jumped last winter 2011 over 300 jumps from it and the longest 20m. So welcome to see and try!
