History:

In Storefoss and Heggenes in the municipality of Øystre Slidre, skiing has probably been going on since around 1930. The Storefossbakken ski jumping facility was built in 1975 and was operated by Øystre Slidre IL. Presumably, the ski jumping activities were discontinued in the early 2010s. The sports club is best known for its cross-country skiing and biathlon activities with the World Cup events in Beitostølen.

AW: zwei parallele Schanzen?
