Trollsåsbakken was built in 1954 as a replacement for Lefsrødbakken. The building costs are well documented and were 13,000 Norwegian Crowns (about 1,200 Euro). Kodal IL received 3,000 Crowns (around 280 Euros) from the municipality and took a loan of the same amount.
The lengthy conversion between 1966 and 1971 was even more expensive. The total costs were 43,500 Crowns (about 4,000 Euros), so another loan of 20,000 Crowns (around 1,900 Euros) and another funding of 17,000 Crowns (around 1,600 Euros) were necessary.
The last use of Trollsåsbakken was in 1992. It was supposed to be demolished in 2006, however this plan was delayed. On January 6th 2007, the history of the hill has ended. Besides the K32, there were two smaller hills of unknown size.
