History:

In the 1960s, four small ski jumping hills with sizes from 10 to 40 metres, the largest of which has an artificial surface, were set up in Akademgorodok (university village). They were quite popular for a while, but in the 1990s the sport received much less attention, which had a significant impact on the facilities in Tomsk. In 1992 they were privatised, but this did not change the situation, the facilities steadily declined and became unusable, they were even consumed by fire. Since 2005, attempts have been made to bring them back into operation, but not much has happened. In November 2012, a private investor decided to build a winter sports complex, which was to include four new ski jumps (K60, K30, K20, K10), cross-country trails and a biathlon shooting range, all at a cost of around 200 million roubles. In 2017, another project emerged with a total cost of 521 million roubles. None of these projects have been implemented.
