History:

In 1933, the first ski jump in Sigulda was built on "Paradise Hill" (Paradīzes Kalns). In 1937, it was rebuilt and then allowed jumps up to 50 meters. In the 1950s, the facility was rebuilt again and a smaller hill was added next to it. Until 1963, the Latvian championships were held there regularly.
