History:
Initiated by ski jumping legend Josef "Bubi" Bradl, in his hometown the Nordic Training Center at Rieding valley at the foot of Hochkönig was opened in 1969. The three natural ski jumping hills K89, K70 and K54 were used during winter months mainly for training purposes and for season endings in late April (!) competitions with high-rank international participants were held. After Bradl had passed away, a final memorial competition was held as part of Europa-Cup in 1982, but then the ski jumping facility was abandonned.
