History:

The first jump at Lomnice nad Popelkou was planed in 1950 and opened in 1952 as a K58 with a wooden 18 m high inrun tower. It was built after plans of the architect Jarolim and already one year later next to it the 30 m junior’s hill was constructed.
The most intensive extension was in 1970. The large ski jump got a steel inrun construction and enlarged into a K70. Also a new 25 meter hill has built and the old 30 m ski jumping hill was enlarged into a K43. At the same time all three jumps got a plastic covering.
The three jumps are all 50 m beside the other which has the advantage that people can practice on all jumps at the same time. In addition there are good conditions for staying overnight and for food and drink for practice camps and of course the competitions taking place frequently.
To support the development of young jumpers in 1995 two further jumps with mattings Zavodniky K13 and K8 were built. The most known jumper coming from the Lomnice youth was Karel Kodeska, who won at ski flying on Kulm in Bad Mitterndorf the first Czech wolrd champion title.
In the year 2004 the K43 and K27 were renewed and newly covered with plastic mattings. The 70 meter normal hill was modernized and covered with new plastic mattings in 2007, too, and the inrun tower was renewed.

K43 - Hill record

Co do rekordu zimowego to nie zauważyłem, że w konkursie drużynowym Lukas Danek skoczył jeszcze dalej, bo aż 50,5 m.

K43 - Hill record: 50,5 m (Lukas Danek CZE, 2009-02-14)

Rekord K43

Przy okazji znalazłem rekord skoczni K43.

K43 - Hill Record: 48,5 m (Lukas Danek CZE, 2009-02-15)

http://www.lsklomnice.cz/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_download&gid=28&Itemid=13

Thank's for the corrected data! I adjusted it and also moved the smaller jumps into "Popelka"!
