History:

A small skiing area had been installed on a small hill south of Fenton near Detroit in winters from 1947 on and was operated by Summit Ski Club. The name of the skiing area and club changed to "Kandahar" in 1967 and a few years later the ski jumping hill was set up. There were two wooden ski jumps as K22 and K8, which had been used for training and smaller competitions for many years. In early 1990's the skiing area was abandoned and partially converted into housing estates.
