In the village of Chulkovo, not far from the airport Zhukovskiy, there is the Borovskoye hill (195 m), on the slope of which the Guy Severin ski club operates. On its territory there is the only training ski jumping hill complex preserved on the Moscow region, which consists of two facilities, the K-point of the larger one being set up at 25 metres. The initiator of its establishment was a former pupil of the local school, Yevgeny Vasilievich Malyshev, who was interested in both cross-country and ski jumping, which naturally directed him towards Nordic combined. At first, only boys were training, but soon girls also appeared on the hills and one of them, Irina Taktaeva, became a member of the Russian national team.
The ski jumping hills do not have a mattings surface, so the young athletes usually train on the facilities in Vorobyové Gory.
