History:

The WSV Eisenerz and the ski college with the Nordic Education Centre (NAZ) for many years had two different ski jumping facilities, the Erzbergschanzen and the plastic covered Tull ski jumps. Before that, there was the old Erzbergschanze at Kressenberg. They are the home turf of numerous Austrian world class athletes, such as Daniela Iraschko-Stolz, Mario Stecher, David Zauner or Reinhold Bachler.
Erzbergschanzen K90, K60 and K25 are located at "Eisenerzer Ramsau", at the foot of 2043 m high Wildfeld, and were opened in 1997. The hills did not have a plastic covering and could only be used in winter time. The normal hill has been hosting many international competitions such as Continental Cup or FIS Cup events.
In May 2015, modernization works on the ski jumping facility and attached cross-country skiing center had started. For a total of around 8 million Euros Erzbergschanzen were rebuilt as four hills with HS 109, HS 70, HS 35 and HS 15. Furthermore, new changing and waxing rooms, a judges tower, a parking lot, a function room, a climbing aid as cabelway, a snowing making facility with storage pond and cooling tower, as well as the integrated cross-country stadium were newly constructed. In early July 2016 the completely renovated facility was finished and inaugurated as "Erzberg Arena". With the reconstruction of the hills at Erzberg, the Tull ski jumps were closed.
