History:

The Hudson Ski Club was founded in 1907 to promote ski jumping. At least two early jumps were built but they were destroyed by natural forces. In the winter of 1933-34, a new and larger facility was built in North Hudson. Already in August 1934, the ski jump collapsed due to a storm. As the tower is visible in an aerial photo from 1939, it had to be rebuilt, but photos from 1945 show that the history of the hill have lasted only a few years at most.
