History:

In 1921 the ski jumping competitions of the first „Winter Carnival“ were held on Marshall Hill at Mount Mansfield in Stowe, Vermont. The event at which also toboggan slide and ice skating competitions took place, attracted more than 2,000 spectators and was part of winters at Stowe for many years.
