History:

The first ski jump of Frösö IF located near Östersund was opened in 1939 at Fläsklådan and on it jumps around 20 meters could be performed.
In 1958 the ski jumpers guild then decided to build a new ski jumping hill at Lövsta. The K40 was inaugurated in 1959 and one year later the Swedish junior championships were hosted there. In 1962 the smaller 29 meter hill was then inaugurated.
After both jumps were out of use for some time they were destroyed and removed in 1999.
