History:

The Dicken-Schanze, also called Tanzboden-Schanze, was built in 1927 at Dicken above Ebnat-Kappel and expanded already in 1930. After another conversion in 1944-45, during which a three-story judges' tower was constructed, in 1945, '47, '50, and '53 the Tanzboden-competitions with the best Swiss ski jumpers took place there. In 1957, the ski club had to deconstruct the ski jump and the judges' tower. Today there is still the small Tanzboden ski lift at Dicken.
