History:
Skiclub Tramelan in Swiss Jura was founded already in 1908. The first ski jumping hill was "Tremplin des Charrats", which was built in 1927. On January 7, 1934, the new 45 meter hill "Tremplin des Combattes" was inaugurated and turned Tramelan into a local ski jumping stronghold. Competitions there attracted many ski jumpers, some also coming from Bernese Uplands.
