History:

The ski jump of the ŠD Šentjernej club in the small village of Drča near the Pleterje monastery was built by volunteers since 1971 on the basis of a profile made by a local ski jumper and engineer Janez Gorišek. By winter 1973 most of the work had been done, the jump was inaugurated in 1974. The longest recorded jump was 44.5 meters. After 1975, ski jumping in this area began to decline.
