History:

Črna na Koroškem is a village in the Slovenian part of Carinthia, formerly aslo known as Schwarzenbach in Kärnten. Ski jumping was very popular there in 1960's and 70's and there existed a 60 meter ski jumping hill. Best ski jumpers of SK Črna were Drago and Danilo Pudgar, who were both members of the Yugoslavian national team. Danilo Pudgar became 8th place in the Olympic large hill event of Sapporo 1972, and was then even elected as Slovenia's sportsman of the year!
But after Pudgar brothers resigned from their active careers, interest in ski jumping declined at Črna. Then the ski club focused on alpine ski racing and is very successful as well, being the home club of Slovenia's ski star Tina Maze.
