History:

The first ski jumping attempts in Vologda were made in 1929 on snow jumps near the Losta station and on the bank of the Kubena river. In 1934, the ski jump was built in the historic center of the city on the dome hill. Jumps of up to 14 meters were achieved there. After World War II, a 30-meter ski jump was built at Losta station.
