History:

In former times Krasnoyarsk was the most known ski jumping centre of the USSR and with the 1958 built Kastak the country’s largest ski jump was standing there. The very first jump of the town was constructed in 1937 and with Nikolaewskaja Sopka there was a second ski jumping facility. A 20 and 30 meter hill at Nikolaewskaja Sopka were already build in 1952, six years later Kastak K50. In 1974 a K70 and a K100 were constructed. Since 2000 the K87.5 ski jump has been out of order, but the K112 was still used for jumping.
For the Winter Universiade, which took place in Krasnoyarsk in 2019, it was planned to rebuild the ski jumps. After all, ski jumping was not included in the program of the event. However, after the Universiade, the construction of three junior hills K60, K40 and K20 began at the site of the old jumps at Nikolayevskaya Sopka.
