History:

In 1985 the sports school in Kumertau opened a classic skiing section. The pupils trained on a newly built 50-metre facility. In the same year the school coaches G.A. Bushmelev and R.R. Saitgafarov completed the construction of a small 20-metre ski jump in order to organise a more complete training process. Nowadays both facilities still exist and function, but due to a lack of funds it is not possible to carry out the necessary repairs in the complex, so the prospects for jumping in Kumertau are very poor.
