History:

Chaykovskiy is famous because of its modern ski jumping complex "Snezhinka" which hosted best athletes in both ski jumping and nordic combined during last years. But the city has also a small ski jumping complex called "Edelweiss". The three ski jumps for children (K8, K5 and K3) were built near School No. 1 ("Школа № 1") in 2015. Thanks to a coach from the school club MBU SOK Edelweiss ("МБУ СОК Эдельвейс") and help from local community, the goal is to get children easier access to the ski jumping sport.
