History:
Most likely in 1951, a training ski jump was built in then-Kuibyshev (now Samara) on the banks of the Volga River in the A. M. Gorky Central Park of Culture and Recreation. The facility was constructed in a picturesque area, sheltered from the wind and direct sunlight.
