History:

A wooden ski jumping hill was built in the Berezuisky Gorge in Kaluga in the 1960s. However, the underground river that flowed under the gorge turned into a stream over time and destroyed the ski jump. The facility was no longer used in the 1980s and demolished at the end of the decade. In 1976, the Berezuisky ski jump was the location of a scene in the film "Other people's letters", which was filmed in Kaluga.
