In Valea Strâmbă (hungarian: Gyergyótekerőpataki) near Braşov in Harghita county the second-largest ski jump of Romania was situated with the K70.
In March 1985, the normal hill competition of the international winter Spartakiade was hosted there and until mid-2000s Romanian championships were held at Valea Strâmbă regularly.
The junior hills were modernized in fall 2015 by Tekerőpatak Kútfő sports club and have since been used regularly during winters.
