History:

At the turn of the 1940s and 1950s, when the hill at Siwy Brzeg in Limanowa was in poor condition, a new small hill in Sowliny was built at the initiative of the well-known local teacher Władysław Wietrzny. In the years 1948-53, several competitions were held there, but eventually the facility was closed for security reasons - a high-voltage line was placed above the hill.
