Before World War II in Łagiewniki Forest, one of Europe's largest forest complexes located within the city limits, there was a small ski jump. To this day, the place is called "Skocznia" ("Jumping Hill"). It is unclear whether a wooden structure resembling a knoll is a remnant of the former ski jumping hill.

Skocznia znajduje się z drugiej strony ul. Wycieczkowej. Można się tam dostać, albo z parkingu szpitala, albo idąc od kapliczek.
