History:

The history of ski jumping in the village Hain (now Przesieka) started after the I World War. Then a small ski jumping hill was constructed on the slope at Almenrausch. A few years later, among others, a ski jumping hill at the Schweizerhaus with a K-Point of 35 metres (the distances reached there were probably no more than 30 metres), a field ski jump at the Golden Frieden with a descent into the valley of the Cherven enabling jumps of about 20 metres and two ski jumping hills in the Smogornia valley near the Odrodzenie hut with K-Points of 15 and 7 metres were built. However, these facilities were not sufficient for the inhabitants of Przesieka at that time, so the construction of a large ski jump near the Podgórna Waterfall was undertaken. The construction was fully artificial, had a wooden inrun tower with a very long inrun of 105 metres. Lavish winter sports festivals were organised on the ski jumps in Hain from 1923 to 1945. The history of ski jumping in Przesieka ends with the time of WWII.
