History:

The beginnings of ski jumping on Hopebakken near the school outside of Risør were probably in the 1930's. It is said the longest distances on this hill were at around 40 meters in the late 1940's. In 1979, the ski jump was completely renovated and down-sized to a K20. In the mid-2010's it was finally demolished.
