History:

Hauglandsbakken, which is located North of Åmli, was opened on February 22nd. Unfortunately, the opening race did not really match with the occasion, since mild temperatures and strong winds affected it. The conditions even caused several ugly falls, also from H.A. Hansen, who could not land his record jump on 37.5 meters. And so it was O. Tellefsen, who took it with 31.5 meters.
Eleven years later, the two jumpers Hans Kleppen and Arnold Bjørklund jumped a new record of 44 meters.
In 1983, the hill was completely renovated and enlarged. The re-opening took place on January 15th 1984. But only three years and hill records later, it was closed. Since then, it is decaying. The former owner Dristug IL gave the ground to Åmli municipality. It was supposed to tear down the inrun tower, however it is still standing.
