The Gjerdrumsbakken at Gjerdrum, a small settlement in Våler i Solør municipality, was constructed in 1912 and modernized several times. In 1980’s, the annual “Skjærtorsdags rennet” (Maundy Thursday competition) was organized with up to 5,000 spectators attending Norwegian world class jumpers competing on the hill.
After the last modernization in late 1990's, also Continental-Cup competitions were hosted on the K90 (HS 100) hill until mid-2000's.
Since winter 2006, the ski jumping hills had not been used for 7 years, but then the K65 hill was again used for training purposes in 2013. In 2021, its inrun was restored.
Furthermore, in summer 2019 the new-construction of the two junior hills K17 and K7 started, which are used for training of young ski jumpers by Våler IF.
