History:

Stange SF built its first ski jump in 1913. It was mostly natural and allowed jumps up to 15 meters. In the 1930's, events were hosted here quite frequently; partly regular competitions, sometimes also fun events. At those events, Anna and Johan from bistro "Bærji" offered coffee there.
The larger hill had an impressive inrun tower with a long and smooth transition to the take-off. There was also a judges' tower built for this hill, which allowed jumps a little further than 30 meters.
The facility was closed in 1935 and re-opened not before 1946, after a new inrun tower was built and the outrun got cleared.
In the mid-1950's, the local interest in ski jumping got less and less and so the facility started to decay once again. Also putting the inrun tower from the larger to the smaller hill could not stop this process.
