Jumps in Furuberget.

In Furuberget, there are remains from no less than 7 ski jumps. Just west of Furubergbakken, the Germans started to build a large hill at near the end of WW2, but was only half finished. 300 m east of Furubergbakken there is remains of a small hill. Then 300 m east of Vikerkollen there was Nordbakken. I jumped there myself at young age, I believe it was the last contest ever held in that hill. Further to the east, there has been two or three more jumps, and on the other side of the road, there is "Gamle Hammern", also destroyed.

Skijumpinghills

None of the three mentioned hills are in use. The hills of Furukollen are also dimantled. The Furuberget hill havent been in use for almost 30 years. The club, Furnes SF, are now in charge of the rebuilding of the Lierberget hill, where it will be at least 4 hills (K60, K40, K25 and K15), maybe more.
