History:

The first jumps at Basis A Bakken were already made in 1905. In 1920, some jumpers reached distances of 27 meters. After World War II, the inrun tower had to be re-erected after it collapsed. But, that task was already completed in 1946. Eventually, the history of ski jumping at this place was over in the 1960's, after a snowstorm destroyed the inrun tower once again.
