Birger Solbakken's fallen jump of 58 meters in 1923 was the longest ski jump in Norway at the time. The famous ski jumping girls Johanne Kolstad and Hilda Braskerud visited the hill in 1932, but the icy conditions on the day made both them and several other jumpers decide not to take part. Instead they jumped at an improvised competition in Musvannsbakken a few days later.
