The first ski jump in Setermoen in Bardu municipality was built in 1932. The Mobakken K88 normal hill was set up in 1976. But this was a very difficult project, because the works were paused several times. Main supporter was Per Sandnes who finally managed to built the basis of the ski jumping centre of Bardu with Mobakken at Åshaugen.
Seven years later beside the K88 a smaller hill with a K-Point of 70 m was built. The large Mobakken ski jump was reconstructed as K90 in 2001.
