History:
Krågbakken used to be the biggest ski jump in the territory of Fauske community. This was especially due to the fact that it was the only one with an artificial inrun tower. In addition to that, it was well-equipped with floodlights and a judges' tower. These facts were the basics for hosting the Slåttvikrennet for a long time, a competition named after the well-known Nordic Combiner Simon Slåttvik.
The hill profile was made for the traditional parallel-, but not for the V-style. This was also not adapted and so the hill lost importance from the early 1990's on. From mid-1990's on, it was not used anymore and decayed.
Around 2010, Innstrandens IL from nearby town Bodø thought about reactivating the hill, because its location offers stable snow conditions and also the possibility to have a bigger ski jump than in town territory. But this plan was never fulfilled.

Additional hills
Hi, I've jumped in this hill when I was younger, early 90's. There was at least one more hill to the left. You can barely see it in the aerial photo. It was probably a K20 or K30.
