The first ski jump at Arlia area near Bodø was built in 1925 and is nowadays referred to as "Old Arlia".
The newer ski jump was set up in 1950-51. The enlargement into a normal hill took place in 1973-1975. In addition to that, also floodlights were installed and a permanent bridge over the bypassing river was built. Since end 1990's Arlia K80 ski jump has been out of use, but if it can be financed it shall be converted into a small ski jumping facility.
