Granebakken was the home hill of IF Granes (also called Skiens Grane). The ski jump was mainly used before World War II and was closed around 1950. Still today the concrete foundations at the top of the hill are visible.
A little to the west there was also another small ski jump later - the Eikorndalen hoppbakken.
