History:

Drangedal was once a ski jumping center in the Telemark province. The Langmyrheia 64-meter ski jump was probably built near Drangedal after the Second World War. In the 1950s, Petter Hugsted held the hill record with 61 meters. Later this was improved by local hero Gudtorm Heldal to 64 m. Furthermore, during the 1960s jumpers such as Yggeseth and Wirkola competed there. In March 1980, the K40 hill on the north-western slope of Langemyrfjellet was opened and in 1986 the two junior hills K25 and K18 were added. The jumps have been in ruins for many years now, but there are plans to reactivate them by Drangedal IL.
