History:

Holmenebakken was the first ski jumping hill in the Kodal community. It was built in 1914 and inaugurated with a competition in 1915. It had a remarkably steep inrun, which ended in a four meter high take-off. However, the jumps were not longer than 25 meters. Also because of that, there was the decision to build a bigger ski jumping hill in 1920, which was Lefsrødbakken.
