History:

The 1923 constructed Nordlibakken rises high above the city center of Horten and replaced the Dampejordsbakken. Until 1977, it was property of the Horten Ski Club, before the municipality took it over. The larger hill was opened on March 30th 1924, in 1935 the smaller hill was added.
At the end of February 1959, a national race with participants from the whole country was held. Only a little later, the installation of the floodlight system was inaugurated. Until the 1980's, the hills were frequently used.
Unfortunately, the hill profiles became very old-fashioned and the last larger competition was held back in 1999. In 2016, the hills were eventually demolished.
