History:

The ski jumps were located in a forest area in Northern direction of Kongsberg. Thanks to this location, they were well-protected from wind and also offered stable snow conditions. Besides the floodlights, which were outstanding at that time, it is said there was something similar like an ice track in the inrun of the larger hill. The ice, as well as the material for the inrun tower, originally came from a factory in the area. The facility was used until the 1960's, until the inrun tower collapsed. As well as the ski jumps, also the ski club is not existing anymore.
