History:

Myrabakken was built in 1931 and from 1936, it was the first hill in the region which also had artificial lightings. One of the participants in the opening competition was Gunnar Andersen, who jumped for Modum SK and became a World Champion the year before in Oslo. During its existance, Myrabakken was a popular ski jump, espcially for night competitions. Interestingly, the inrun tower was used as a spectators stand for matches of the local football club, which played on the nearby pitch. At the end of World War II, the inrun tower fell into disrepair and was demolished later.
