History:

The ski jumping hill was set up for the first time in 1924. Since it was located on the property ground of Martin Monsrud, it was named after him. During the first competition in late winter 1924, the inrun was still natural. For the 1926 winter, a wooden inrun tower was built, so the official inauguration competition with 50 participants could be held.
The hill was extended again in 1927, so that the hill record could be improved to 37 meters. The last documented competition were the district championships in 1933, but it is said the ski jump was still used afterwards as a training hill.
