History:

The construction works for the Aanerudbakken in Gansdalen, a southern district of Fetsund, started in 1924. It was inaugurated in January 1926 with an opening ceremony. Even though the size of the ski jump was considered as too small, it was frequently used.
In 1938, major maintenance works were required to avoid a possible collapse of the inrun tower. Between 1951 and 1954, a complete renovation took place. In course of that, also floodlights were installed.
In 1955, a smaller hill, called Brusebakken, was built additionally.
