History:

During a members' meeting in November 1933, Fjuk Sportsklubb decided to build a ski jumping hill. After the two landowners August Fjuk and Karl Andersen Stagrim gave free territory, the construction works began. The club built the hill completely on its own and started using it the same winter.
Between the end of the 1930's and 1950, various competitions took place on Fjukbakken, which always saw many participants. Even afterwards, the ski jump was frequently used for training.
