History:

Around 1948 the ski jumping facility at Steinberg was constructed, later all three ski jumps of the ski jumping training centre were covered with plastic mattings. With the political turnover in 1990 ski jumping activities at Zschorlau declined unfortunately and in 1993 the inrun tower was demolished. Today the slope is just used by skiing department of ESV Zschorlau for alpine skiing.
