History:

In 1930 at Thierfeld in Erzgebirge the Hertelschanze was opened. This ski jump had a wooden inrun tower and jumps on 35 meters were possible. In the end of 1930’s it was modernized by forced workers, jumping on the hill was active until the end of 1950’s.
